We ship all Zaca Medicine Cabinets in specially designed cardboard shipping boxes which are configured to hold, and protect, the medicine cabinets during transit. We normally ship cabinets by Ground, but at special request, can arrange
Next Day, Second Day, or Third Day express shipping.
All orders are shipped “Free on Board” (FOB) Westlake Village, California USA and the order is considered “Fulfilled” when the shipping package is picked up by the ground freight shipper. We pay for shipping insurance on every shipped carton of Zaca Medicine Cabinets and it is the Shipping Company’s responsible for safe handling of your cabinets from the time of fulfillment, to the date the package is delivered to you. The shipping company is responsible for paying for broken, lost or stolen Zaca Medicine Cabinets.
DO NOT SIGN FOR YOUR ORDER UNTIL YOU HAVE PHYSICALLY INSPECTED IT. Also, advise your family members or any others who may be present when delivery is made NOT TO SIGN either. Packaging that appears in good condition does not guarantee that there is no "hidden" damage, cracked or broken mirrors. The only way to be certain is to fully unpack and examine the Zaca Medicine Cabinets very carefully. Should you not have time to open and inspect the cabinet, please sign the receipt as 'un-inspected' instead of your signature. Legally, by applying your signature, you are signing a document stating that you have inspected the item and it is in good condition. In this case, any later claim for un-noticed ("hidden") damage must be filed by you with the freight company as we will have no recourse when the item is signed for. We will therefore have no liability to replace your Zaca Medicine Cabinet or Refund your money.
In the event that your Zaca Medicine cabinet arrives damaged, you are responsible for reporting the damage as soon as possible and not later than 10 days from receipt. If you intend to store an item for later use you MUST unpack it and examine for possible hidden damage. No claims will be accepted by shipping companies after 10 days. Also - see the warning above about not signing on receipt without examining each of the cabinets carefully. If your new Zaca Medicine Cabinets are damaged in transit, we will help claim insurance from the shipping company, but this must be done within 10 days of delivery. If you allow this time to elapse no claims can be made and a return cannot be accepted. The shipping company is responsible for paying loss claims for broken, misplaced or stolen Zaca Medicine Cabinets.
Returns will be allowed within the first 30 days after order fulfillment and only after you have called and received an appropriate return authorization. Our intention is that you received your new Zaca Medicine cabinets exactly as described on our web site and we will pay freight both ways if we have made a mistake. If your new Zaca Medicine Cabinets are defective we will ship another at our expense. Defects must be reported within 10 days of delivery. NOTE: Chipped or cracked mirrors are not manufacturer’s defects and must be reported as shipping damage.
All Zaca Medicine Cabinets that have been properly returned will be refunded or credited minus the shipping charges and manufacturer re-stocking fees of a minimum of 25%. This fee will be reduced to 15% if an order is made for replacement of equal or greater value. Shipping charges we incurred to ship Free Shipping and Handling items will also be charged back to you less the 25% re-stocking fee. Minimum order items and some others may not be returned.
